We believe in direct communication between customers and the people who work on products or provide services. To reduce the need for a dedicated support staff, Replies is designed not only to answer recurring questions in the blink of an eye but also to improve itself with each new reply it provides.
Our team is composed of three people who all have years of experience building products and providing support by themselves.
The idea for Replies was first conceived in 2009 when Ruben was getting overwhelmed with the support load from Mailplane. His own needs motivated him to create the first version of Replies for Mac. The new application allowed him to continue his work without hiring additional staff and still stay connected with his customers.
In 2015, we decided to completely rebuild Replies from the ground up as web application while preserving its original purpose. Of course, we used it to support our own products from the very beginning.
At the end of 2016, we invited friends and beta testers to try Replies in order to get broader feedback on the evolving product. Their response and our own experience with Replies gave us the confidence to release it officially mid-2017.
Since then, Replies has been helping businesses and individuals stay efficient and provide even better customer support.
